Job Summary:

The Change Management section is situated directly under the Digital Office Manager, reporting to the Chief Technical Officer. This section serves the crucial purpose of managing and facilitating organizational changes related to digital technologies, processes, and people, particularly in relation to the implementation of the Digital Strategy, Plans, and resulting Digital Initiatives at QAFCO.
Change Management is considered a structured approach to transitioning individuals, teams, and QAFCO as a whole from the current state to a desired future state. In the context of a Digital Office, where technology and processes are rapidly evolving, effective Change Management is a critical function that plays a pivotal role in ensuring that technological changes are smoothly integrated into the organization, maximizing benefits while minimizing disruptions and resistance.
Additionally, the role will leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI), predictive analytics, and data-driven insights to monitor adoption trends, predict resistance patterns, personalize engagement, and enhance the overall effectiveness and agility of QAFCO’s digital transformation initiatives. The Head of Change Management will act as a bridge between digital transformation and human adoption by utilizing AI-assisted tools for measuring readiness, adoption progress, and communication effectiveness. The role requires the ability to interpret AI-generated insights and translate them into tailored change interventions that improve user experience, compliance, and overall digital maturity within QAFCO’s evolving digital ecosystem.
The Head of Change Management Section will have the overall responsibility for planning, facilitating, and ensuring the timely delivery and sustained adoption of the Change Management Programs, including digital initiatives and AI use cases, through a structured change process, stakeholder engagement, continuous improvement methodologies, and reinforcement mechanisms.

 


Key Accountabilities:

  • Lead and Execute Comprehensive Change Management Strategies: Drive the execution of Change Management strategies, ensuring seamless transitions in technology, processes, and organizational structure within the Digital Office. 
  • Utilize AI-assisted tools and analytics to identify adoption patterns, stakeholder sentiment, and areas requiring targeted interventions.
  • Minimize Resistance through Effective Communication and Training: Identify and address concerns to minimize resistance by implementing effective communication, training, and support initiatives.
  • Ensure Alignment with Business Objectives and Foster Collaboration: Align digital initiatives with overall business objectives fostering collaboration between teams and various business units.
  • Optimize Technology Adoption with Training Programs: Implement robust training programs and support mechanisms to optimize the adoption of new technologies among end-users driven from the change impact and learning needs assessments.
  • Mitigate Risks through Impact Assessments and Mitigation Plans: Conduct thorough impact assessments to mitigate risks associated with digital transformations, developing and executing risk mitigation plans.
  • Enhance Communication Channels for Stakeholder Engagement: Improve communication channels to keep stakeholders informed about nature, reasons, and benefits of ongoing changes.
  • Measure and Evaluate Success with Defined Metrics: Establish metrics and KPIs to measure and evaluate the success of change initiatives, employing AI-based dashboards and predictive analytics to inform continuous improvement.
  • Foster a Change-Ready Culture through Continuous Improvement: Cultivate a change-ready culture by promoting a mindset of continuous improvement and innovation, including the introduction of AI literacy and awareness programs to prepare employees for AI-enabled workplace transformations.
  • Develop and Implement Change Management Strategy: Craft a comprehensive management strategy to guide the organization through periods of change.
  • Communicate Change and Mitigate Risks: Develop communication plans, identify potential risks and resistance, and create strategies to mitigate those risks during change processes.
  • Conduct Impact Assessments for Organizational Understanding: Conduct impact assessments to understand how changes will affect the organization, including processes, technology, and the overall population.
  • Engage Stakeholders for Support: Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to build buy-in and support for change initiatives.
  • Develop Learning Strategies and Training Programs: Take responsibility for developing learning strategies, ensuring employees are prepared for change, and creating effective training programs and materials.
  • Measure Success and Evaluate Effectiveness: Evaluate the success of change and learning initiatives, making necessary adjustments for continuous improvement.
  • Integrate AI in Change Management Processes: Leverage AI-powered platforms (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, SAP Joule, or similar tools) to automate change tracking, perform sentiment analysis, and assess user readiness, ensuring data-driven decision-making throughout the change lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with AI and Data Teams: Work closely with the Digital Office’s AI and Data teams to co-develop intelligent feedback loops using behavioral and adoption data to optimize communication, learning, and engagement strategies.

 

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • 8 to 10 years direct and relevant experience with at least 5 years of experience in change management or a related field, preferably in a digital transformation or AI-enabled environment within the large-scale organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline or advanced study in Digital Transformation, Change Leadership, or AI for Business is an advantage.
  • Certification in Change Management (e.g., Prosci, ACMP) is a plus; certifications in AI for Business Transformation, Digital Adoption, or Data-Driven Change Leadership are considered a strong advantage.
  • Knowledge of AI tools used in digital transformation (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, SAP Joule, or similar AI assistants).
  • Ability to translate AI analytics and adoption metrics into actionable change management strategies.
  • Familiarity with Responsible AI principles, data privacy, and ethical use of AI in workforce transformation.
  • Experience in designing AI enablement or awareness programs to enhance employee readiness for AI-integrated systems
